2017 Money for Women Fund Grantee

My memoir-in-progress has earned a 2017 Money For Women / Barbara Deming Memorial Fund grant. A feminist, a journalist, a nonviolent activist, the late Barbara Deming dedicated her life to fighting the good fight for gender and equality. I’m proud—particularly in this current climate—to be among the recipients of Deming’s generous legacy via her ongoing fund for women artists.
